The Brain Observatory is a nonprofit neuroscience laboratory in downtown San Diego. We study donated human brains, teach students, and share brain science with the public.

The work at The Brain Observatory is also the foundation for the World Brain Bank: a global tissue and data resource that helps scientists decipher the mechanisms behind brain disease, and what makes each human being unique.
